For over ten years, Bonnie has served as program coordinator, supervisor, clinical therapist, crisis counselor, advocate and consultant at a variety of social work agencies in New York City. She balances multiple professional roles in the social work field, integrating body-mind-spirit social work modalities with psychodynamic, strengths-based and empowerment perspectives.
Bonnie has extensive experience in social work practice with trauma, violence and victimization. She is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Forensic Interviewing, and Forensic Evaluations. Bonnie also specializes in social work practice with life-threatening illness, death, and dying.
Bonnie attended Miami University (Ohio) for her undergraduate career, where she received a BA in psychology with a minor in criminology. She attended Columbia University School of Social Work (CUSSW) for her graduate education and earned a MS in social work.
